Mehlville Eliminates Pattonville In Class 6 Semifinals, Face Rockhurst

Hazelwood Takes Steps on Security Issues

In response to district patrons concerns about security in Hazelwood School District schools, the administration has taken several steps in recent days to address those issues.

Among them are the adding four additional security guards at the high schools, developing a district-wide advisory group for school safety and having staff attend bomb and arson training in St. Louis County. Much of these results came after more than 100 parents and school officials met to review information and make recommendations.

Always Something New to Experience During an Early Christmas in Branson

For many families in Missouri and the surrounding states, it takes a trip to Branson to kick off the holidays and really get them into the spirit of the season. Some of those families enjoy seeing their favorite holiday shows, such as Andy Williams, the Osmonds, Shoji Tabuchi or Yakov year after year, but this year it was time to break out of the old routine and sample some of the exciting new shows.

Mixed Council Views On Tanning Salons

The Florissant City Council held a public hearing at the council meeting Monday concerning a planned tanning salon in the city.

HT Tanning would like to open between Gold’s Gym and Schnucks in the Florissant Marketplace shopping center at 8786-8188 North Lindbergh.
