Four Road Football Games Next For 5-0 Hazelwood West Starting This Friday

Enjoying their first-ever 5-0 start in football Hazelwood West, who played the last four games at home, will be playing the next four weeks on the road including the next two games, both non conference games on Friday nights.

Residents Urged to File Flood Damage Claims

Florissant residents who had water in their homes from sanitary sewers backing up have 30 days to file a claim with Metropolitan Sewer District.

Mayor Robert Lowery met recently with inspectors from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), and the Small Business Administration and a rapid damage assessment was conducted.

Hazelwood Changes Emergency Plan In Wake of Flood Rescues

The Hazelwood Emergency Operations plan was amended at the Sept. 17th city council meeting but ironically, the two changes didn’t apply to the Coldwater Creek flooding situation on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 14.
