Florissant Sets Fees For New Nature Lodge Rental

The new Nature Lodge at Sunset Park may soon be available for rental. The Florissant City Council held a first reading on a bill that sets the fees for rental.

Mike O’Mara Named Old Jamestown Citizen of the Year

Hazelwood West Middle School Students Compete at TOYchallenge
Hazelwood West Middle School sixth grade students, from left, Emma Bamert, Jacqueline Pelletier and Roxane Dennis, with a mock-up of their game, “The Mathters of Magic.” The trio will travel to Alexandria, VA to compete in the Sally Ride TOYchallenge™ Nationals. Florissant Makes Plans for a Farmer’s Market at St. Ferdinand Shrine Grounds
Florissant may soon be joining the ranks of nearby communities such as Ferguson and Alton that offer farmer’s markets.
Mayor Robert Lowery, Sr. and Frank Stahlschmidt, president of Florissant Old Town Partners, are forming a committee to move forward in establishing a farmer’s market next to Old St. Ferdinand Shrine in Coldwater Commons Park.
