Kristine Ward, of , BJC Home Care Services and Marsha Shepley, OT, BJC Home Care Services will discuss a variety of topics including: the risk of falls, home safety, Lifeline Emergency Response, common causes of balance problems, ballroom dancing and its effects on balance and posture. NCCS takes 2nd in MCSAAC Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer

North County Christian School took their high school Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer teams to Joplin last weekend for the Missouri Christian Schools Athletic Association Championships and both teams ended up finishing in second place.

GNC Chamber Meets With 2 Florissant Councilmen, Won’t Oppose License Fee; Compromise On Fee Implementation

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, after meeting with two Florissant Council members, has discontinued the Florissant Business in Action plans opposing the Nov. 3rd Florissant license fee increase ballot proposal.

Alps Grocery Opens in Florissant

Alps Grocery ribbon cutting, celebrating the new Florissant store’s grand opening, was held recently and attended by officials of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce. With local officials and Alps employees present owner/manager Sandip Patel, his wife, Rekha cut the ribbon. Sandip’s parents were also present. The discount food store is the second Alps store in the metro area offering many name brands. The Florissant store is located at 750 S. New Florissant Rd.
