Christian Hospital will hold the following programs in March:
Financial Boot Camp: Fitness for Your Finances, March 2, 10-11:30 a.m., at Northwest HealthCare Community Room, 1225 Graham Rd. The Financial Boot Camp is designed to cover a broad array of financial topics. Whether you consider yourself a novice or a professional in the financial arena, you will not only refresh your knowledge, but learn more about ways to reinforce your complex financial needs. Diabetes Alert Day, free screenings on March 22, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m., at Christian Hospital Diabetes Institute, 11155 Dunn Road, Suite 101N, Christian Hospital Campus, Professional Building 1.
AARP Driver Safety Course, March 15, 8:30 a.m.-12?30 p.m., at Christian Hospital Detrick Bldg, Atrium B. Fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members, payable to AARP the day of training. This four-hour training will help you tune up your driving skills, update your knowledge of the rules of the road, learn about normal age-related physical changes and ways to adjust for these changes and reduce traffic violations, crashes and chances for injuries. BREATHE program is held on Mondays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m.-noon, at Graham Medical Center, 1150 Graham Rd. Suite 104. Cost is $30. Designed for people with pulmonary disease — participants focus on deep breathing, exercises and relaxation. Call 314-953-6090 to register or for more information.

Center for Senior Renewal provides day treatment programs for older adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, loss and early signs of dementia. The Center for Senior Renewal provides a comfortable, home-like atmosphere staffed with compassionate and experienced mental health professionals. STEPS Schizophrenia Support Group meets on Wednesdays, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This nationally recognized program provides education and support for those with schizophrenia. Group is facilitated by an experienced STEPS nurse. For more information, call 314-839-3171.
