Ferguson’s Northern Lights Holiday Celebration is Nov. 29

Ferguson will hold its Northern Lights Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 2-7 p.m. The theme is Christmas On Main Street.

Northern Lights will feature caroling and a brass quintet, a visit with Santa, and warming up by bonfires. The schedule of events follows:

Market Under the Stars                                2-7 p.m.

Petting zoo                                        2-7 p.m

Wooden craft for kids                       2-7 p.m.

Free trackless train rides                 2-7 p.m.

Northern Arts Council art sale                    2-7 p.m.

Holiday Walk, Ted Jones Trail                   3 p.m.

Lighted Christmas parade                 5 p.m.

Free cookies and cocoa                                 6-7 p.m.

Ferguson Caring League will be collecting non-perishable food items, personal care items and money for utilities to go to Ferguson families in need. Everyone is urged to bring a donation. Santa will be available following the parade for visits.

Northern Lights is sponsored by the City of Ferguson, Ferguson Lions Club, UMB Bank, Gunnar and Ruth Brown, Joe Lonero, Ferguson Times, the Ferguson Special Business District, and volunteers.
