Free Home Buying Seminar Offered

Learn what it takes to purchase a home by attending Neighbors Credit Union’s Home Buying Seminar on Thursday, Feb. 18, sponsored by Neighbors Credit Union and conducted by a mortgage loan expert. The seminar is free and there are no sales pitches, just free educational information.

Registration is 6:15 – 6:30 p.m. with the seminar from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Community Center, 315 Howdershell Rd. Florissant.

This comprehensive workshop covers such pre-purchase issues including the different mortgage options, down payment options, credit reports as well as the mortgage lending process. We will also discuss how you may be eligible for up to an $8,000 government tax credit if you meet the requirements outlined in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009.
