The City of Hazelwood held its second food truck night of the year July 18 at Howdershell Park. Despite the excessive heat that started earlier in the week, crowds still lined up for the specialty food, drinks, and more.

Russo’s Italian, St. LouisianaQ BBQ, Taste Budz, The Global Quesadilla, and Sarah’s Cakes were among the participating food trucks. Live music was provided by solo acoustical guitarist and vocalist Dennis Shilligo.

In addition, TEAM (The Emergency Assistance Ministry) had a booth on the park grounds to collect donations. There was also a gift basket raffle. TEAM works to provide supplemental food and basic household items to needy families throughout the Florissant/Hazelwood area.
