Historic Florissant, Inc. Seeks Support For Contest
The National Trust for Historic Preservation is sponsoring a contest for not-for-profit historic organizations across the country and Historic Florissant,Inc. needs your vote. The group with the most votes before Sept. 15 will win $25,000.
Gretchen Crank of Historic Florissant Inc. said the group would use the money ” for some much needed repairs to the Gittemeier House and to update our equipment for cataloging our archives.”
Voting is very easy, she said. Go directly to the Historic Florissant, Inc. website where you will be able to quickly vote, just click in link listed on the page. You must register your name and e-mail address so your vote will be counted, then click the “vote” button.
To view the whole National Trust website and the map of the other organizations in the contest, type www.preservationnation.org then click on This Place Matters! near the top of the page.
“You will be allowed one vote for each e-mail address you have,,” said Krank. Thus. if you share a computer with others in you family, each of you will be able to vote as long as you have a different e-mail address, she noted.
