IWA Wins Class 5, Dist. 3 Girls Basketball
Incarnate Word Academy won their 21 District title since 1974 when the Red Knights won Class Five, District Three last week at CBC. IWA was to play Parkway South Wednesday at UMSL and the winner plays Nerinx Hall or Poplar Bluff Saturday, 6 p.m. at UMSL.
IWA defeated Ritenour, 66-34, Feb. 24 as Jazmin Hutchens scored 17 points. Last Saturday Chloe Nelson scored 14 in a 55-47 win over St. Joseph’s Academy, the third win in three games by the Red Knights over the Angels.
