St. Louis Intl., MOSpecial School District Recognizes Five Hazelwood SD Educators
The Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD) will recognized five educators from the Hazelwood School District at the 2010 SSD Salutes Banquet on March 4.
Three district paraprofessionals named Building Block Award winners were: Kimberly Braxton, Hazelwood Central Middle School; Hope Curtis, Hazelwood Southeast Middle School; and Veronica Morgan, Hazelwood Central Middle School.
The award honors “outstanding paraprofessionals” and nominees are judged on their skills and their dedication to students.
Earning Special Ambassadors honors from Hazelwood West High School are Erica Barnes, physical education teacher, and Dave Daniels, modern media teacher. The award is presented to community members and it is the highest recognition given by SSD.
