Veterans’ Parade to be held in Florissant, Nov. 9
A Veterans’ parade will be held in Florissant on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. The parade will begin at the corner of St. Charles and St. Francois. The parade will continue east on St. Francois, one block south on New Florissant to east on St. Catherine, north on Waterford Dr., ending at the James J. Eagan Center. John Auble, from Fox 2 News, is the parade marshall. The parade will feature over 50 units including military vehicles, drum corps, marching bands, elected officials and individuals paying tribute to the veterans. Following the four-mile parade, there will be a presentation of the Veteran of the Year award.
